Harold Woodward
Chairman of the Board
President /CEO

Mr. Woodward has nineteen years of experience in the life insurance industry, primarily in sales and sales management, and Executive Corporation Leadership. Until recently, Mr. Woodward was the President and Founder of Mid-American Alliance Corporation, formed in 1996, and President of Mid-American Century Life Insurance Company, Security Alliance Insurance Company, as well as Chairman of Mid-American Associates Agency, Inc. Prior to moving to Missouri in 1996, he served as Assistant to the President of First Alliance Insurance Company located In Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to his promotion from Assistant to the President, he was a Zone Sales Director of First Alliance Corporation where, during a public stock offering, he and his zone sales personnel were directly responsible for building a sales force which sold approximately $4.2 million of a total offering of $13.75 million. Until April 1993, when he joined First Alliance Corporation, Mr. Woodward served as the Agency Director for United Fidelity, Inc., Springfield, Illinois, during a public stock offering. During his sales career, Mr. Woodward has served as an agent, Regional Director, Executive Sales Director, Agency Director and Assistant to the President for several insurance holding companies and their life insurance company subsidiaries. Mr. Woodward's career in the insurance industry (primarily in Sales and Sales Management for the first 13 years and Executive Management the last 5 years) provided the training and leadership skills to found Mid-American Alliance Corporation in August of 1996. Mid-American Alliance Corporation was very successful in placing an Advisory Board of over 220 highly respected Advisory Board members in all 114 counties of Missouri. The marketing plan of MAAC, under Mr. Woodward's leadership, placed $2,500,000 in common stock, through a Regulation D private offering and subsequently placed $8,000,000 in an intrastate public stock offering, evenly distributed throughout Missouri. This public offering was the largest known offering of its type in Missouri history. While Mr. Woodward was president of the life insurance company subsidiary, the company realized premiums of over $2 million from life insurance sales in Missouri.

Mr. Woodward has received numerous sales awards, including Man of the Year in his Rookie year as a sales representative. He was a member of the prestigious Presidents Council his first year in the insurance business. Early in his career in Management, Mr. Woodward was Top Regional Director (1984) and Top Executive Sales Director (1985). Mr. Woodward has received multiple awards in the insurance business and has been a member of the President's Council, with his previous employers, every year since 1985.

Chris Haas
Secretary/Treasurer

Mr. Haas serves as Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Haas has twenty-five years of experience in the insurance industry primarily in the areas of financial and operations administration. He currently serves as the Chairman & President of First Benefit Capital Corporation, a financial services holding company based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Benefit Capital Life Insurance Company. He was formerly Chairman of the Board and Secretary\Treasurer of First Alliance Corporation, a Kentucky financial services holding company. In addition, he formerly served as Secretary\Treasurer & Director for both, First American Capital Corporation, Topeka, Kansas and Mid-American Alliance Corporation, Jefferson City, Missouri, both of which are financial services holding companies. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Life of Indiana Corp. from June 1979 to June 1987. He then served as Chairman of the Board and President of ROI Corporation from June 1987 to June 1989. Mr. Haas became associated with United Trust, Inc., an Illinois insurance holding company, in March of 1990 as that company's Chief Financial Officer. He also served as Executive Vice-President of Ohio based United Income, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of United Security Assurance Company from March 1990 to March of 1993. Mr. Haas left the United Companies in April 1993 to become the Vice-Chairman and Secretary\Treasurer of First Alliance Corporation and its life insurance and venture capital subsidiaries. Mr. Haas is a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) and a Fellow of Life Management Institute (FLMI). He served as an Audit Manager at Arthur Young & Company in Indianapolis, Indiana from October 1976 to June 1979. BS in accounting from Ball State University.
